R&D Scientist

Biolojic Design, Ltd. is a leading biotechnology company leveraging cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies to develop innovative therapeutics for cancer and autoimmune diseases. Our unique approach focuses on engineering antibodies into dynamic, functional switches capable of modulating biological pathways in entirely new ways. We are looking for a talented, motivated, and enthusiastic Scientist to join one of our leading discovery programs within the Research & Preclinical Development department. As a key member of the project team, you will play an integral role in advancing novel antibody therapeutics, contributing to antibody engineering, yeast display selections, and in vitro antibody characterization using cell-based assays.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a core member of a multidisciplinary Research & Preclinical Development project team.
• Design, develop, and execute biological experiments supporting antibody engineering and characterization.
• Perform antibody selections using display technologies and evaluate antibody functionality through cell-based assays.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to support scientific decision-making and project advancement.
• Communicate scientific findings, document experimental results, and present progress to project teams.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones and timelines.
  
  

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field (or M.Sc. with at least 2 years of experience in the biotechnology industry) - Must
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry and FACS sorting - Must
• Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture and working with diverse cell types, PBMCs, or primary cells – Must
• Strong background in immunology – An advantage
• Experience developing, optimizing, and validating cell-based functional assays - An advantage
• Hands-on experience with protein display technologies, particularly yeast display - An advantage
• Experience in protein engineering and antibody characterization – An advantage
