Software Engineer - AI Solutions

A leading medical device company located in Central Israel is seeking an experienced Software Engineer with a broad technical perspective, a deep understanding of software architecture, and proficiency in a wide range of programming languages and technologies to develop software solutions using advanced AI tools.

The role focuses on designing and developing end-to-end software solutions, leveraging AI tools extensively for code generation while maintaining full responsibility for software architecture, logic, code quality, and alignment with organizational needs.

The position involves collaborating with various departments across the organization, identifying challenges, designing solutions, and selecting the most suitable technologies for each task.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze technical and business challenges across various departments, including R&D, Finance, and Quality.
• Design software architecture and end-to-end technical solutions.
• Develop software using advanced AI tools for code generation, improvement, and optimization.
• Review, analyze, test, and validate AI-generated code.
• Select appropriate programming languages, technologies, and tech stacks based on specific requirements and challenges.
• Develop applications, automation tools, and internal software solutions in Windows environments.
• Work with a wide range of programming languages, including C++, Python, JavaScript, and additional web technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while continuously learning and adopting new technologies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience – Mandatory.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and software development principles – Mandatory.
• Significant hands-on experience developing software using AI-powered development tools – Mandatory.
• Experience developing software using a wide range of programming languages and technologies, including C++, Python, JavaScript, and additional languages.
• Ability to understand, explain, analyze, and review code and software architecture, including AI-generated code.
• Ability to work across multiple technology stacks (Generalist).
• Experience developing applications in Windows environments.
• Experience working with VS Code.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Ability to independently define requirements, design, and lead end-to-end software development solutions.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, technical adaptability, and excellent self-learning abilities.
