Engine Technician

About the Role

Lowental Hybrid is looking for an Engine Technician to join its engineering team. In this hands-on role, you will build and assemble engines and hybrid propulsion systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), prepare them for testing, conduct ground runs and acceptance tests, and maintain the engine test cell.

You will work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers, helping turn designs into hardware and verify how it performs in the test cell.

Responsibilities

Assemble engines and install them in the test cell.

Carry out engine runs and tests in accordance with test procedures.

Troubleshoot faults and perform routine maintenance on engines and the test cell.

Document engine runs and follow safety procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Training as an automotive or aircraft mechanic, or equivalent technical training.

Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with UAV engines or two-stroke engines.

Experience working in an engine test cell or with a dynamometer.

Familiarity with electronic fuel injection (EFI) and basic electrical systems.

Personal Skills
