DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a leading defense company and take part in developing advanced, mission-critical systems.

About the Role:

• End-to-end ownership of planning, building, and supporting DevOps processes in accordance with industry best practices.
• Implementing IaC, supporting DevSecOps practices, working with GitOps methodology, operating in air-gapped/isolated networks, writing scripts, and creating robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentoring and streamlining processes across all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborating closely within a team and alongside developers and cross-functional disciplines.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Azure DevOps preferred) – Mandatory
• Proven experience with Git version control – Mandatory
• Strong scripting skills in Batch, PowerShell (PS1), Groovy, Bash, or Python – Mandatory
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows environments – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Docker Containers – Mandatory
• Deep technical knowledge and experience with Kubernetes ecosystems (K8s / OCP / RKE) – Mandatory
• Background in software development – Advantage
• Experience working in air-gapped / disconnected environments – Advantage
• Experience with IaC configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) – Advantage
• Experience working with Helm – Advantage
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software development practices – Advantage
• Strong understanding of GitOps principles – Advantage
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals – Advantage
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering – Significant Advantage
