Head of AI, Algorithms & Software Development

We are looking for a senior, hands-on technology leader to take full technological and managerial ownership of a next-generation AI-driven clinical decision support platform.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the technology and team behind a platform that transforms complex clinical data into actionable insights, enabling earlier and better-informed clinical decision-making.

In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary development team, combining strong technological judgment with hands-on involvement in research, architecture, algorithm development, software engineering, and product execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the platform’s technological vision, roadmap, architecture, and execution.
• Provide technical and managerial leadership to a multidisciplinary development team.
• Lead the development and validation of AI/ML models and clinical algorithms based on real-world medical data.
• Oversee software development across data infrastructure, algorithms, and application layers, ensuring a secure, scalable, production-ready medical product.
• Translate clinical and business needs into technical priorities and executable development plans.
• Drive the transition from research and prototypes to validated, deployable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with clinical, regulatory, product, and business stakeholders.
• Identify potentially patentable innovations and contribute to the development and protection of intellectual property.
  
  

• Strong technical background in AI/ML, algorithms, data science, and software development.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technology or R&D teams.
• Experience taking complex AI- or algorithm-based products from research and development into production.
• Hands-on leadership, with the ability to challenge assumptions, make sound technical decisions, and drive execution.
• Ability to combine long-term technological vision with effective day-to-day team leadership.
• Experience with complex datasets, data pipelines, software architecture, and production-grade systems.
• Experience in medical devices, digital health, SaMD, healthcare AI, clinical data, or regulated environments is a significant advantage.
