Commercial Project Manager - Building Management Systems (BMS)

A leading technology company specializing in advanced Building Management Systems (BMS), automation, and control solutions is looking for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join its Building Automation Division.

This role involves full ownership of complex projects, from project handover through successful delivery and commercial closure, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, budgets, profitability targets, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end projects, ensuring alignment with contractual scope, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, software, field operations, and service departments.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including execution coordination, performance monitoring, and invoice approval.
• Oversee project procurement activities, including purchase requests, purchase orders, deliveries, and cost tracking.
• Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit customer invoices based on project progress and contractual milestones.
• Follow up on invoice approvals, payments, and commercial issues to ensure timely collection.
• Manage project variations, change orders, and additional work, including identification, pricing, negotiation, and customer approval.
• Maintain accurate commercial, contractual, and project documentation.
• Represent the company in formal project meetings with clients, project managers, consultants, supervisors, and contractors.
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
• Proactively identify risks, delays, and operational challenges, and implement effective solutions.
• Oversee final project handover, financial reconciliation, and commercial closure.

Requirements

• Previous experience managing projects in electromechanical systems, building automation, low-voltage systems, BMS, electrical systems, or other technical infrastructure fields - Strong advantage.
• Proven experience in commercial project management, including budget control, procurement, customer billing, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, technical specifications, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and engineering drawings.
