Projects & Operations Manager

About the Role:

A leading aviation startup is looking for a Projects & Operations Manager to lead planning, control, and operational processes across the company's production and project activities. The role includes building work plans, managing and tracking tasks, coordinating between internal and external interfaces, working with suppliers, monitoring timelines, and removing bottlenecks to ensure continuous and efficient operations. Responsible for translating work plans into actual execution, with high attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and a broad systems view.

Responsibilities:

• Build weekly and monthly work plans for the production team.
• Manage and track work orders and tasks within company systems.
• Provide ongoing control over project progress and deadline adherence.
• Identify bottlenecks, remove obstacles, and advance tasks with all involved stakeholders.
• Conduct ongoing work with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and synchronize between production, procurement, engineering, and professional managers.
• Manage ongoing status updates, highlighting risks, delays, and deviations.
• Lead order, organization, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering & Management or Business Administration preferred) – Mandatory.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in PMO or Project Management roles – Mandatory.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of organization and detail orientation.
• Strong ability to drive processes forward, track, and manage multiple parallel tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple interfaces.

Advantages:

• Familiarity with work orders and manufacturing/production processes.
• Experience working with task management tools and systems, such as Priority and/or Monday.
• Previous experience in defense/defense-tech companies.
