Mechanical Engineer

A leading defense company is looking for a Mechanical Engineer specializing in electronic packaging. You’ll design mechanical assemblies for military systems on airborne, naval and ground platforms, from initial design through installation.

Responsibilities:

Mechanical design of electronic packaging assemblies

Take part in the design and installation of military systems

Guide and manage design projects with subcontractors

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

5+ years of experience in electronic packaging design

Experience designing LRU/SRU drawers, transmitters, receivers, radar antennas and radomes

Experience designing structures, auxiliary fixtures and masts, plus knowledge of relevant manufacturing technologies

Proficiency in SolidWorks and NX

Understanding of stress, dynamic and thermal analysis

Experience writing Specification and SOW documents

High-level English

Hands-on experience using GAI agents

Advantage: Experience with moving mechanisms
