A leading financial organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join its mortgage systems domain and work on complex financial applications and business processes.

This role combines functional and technical systems analysis, API and integration design, database analysis, production troubleshooting, and close collaboration with business and technology teams.

You'll take part in designing end-to-end solutions, translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications, and supporting critical financial systems throughout their lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Write detailed functional and technical system specifications.
• Analyze complex business processes and translate them into technology requirements and solutions.
• Design data flows, system interfaces, and integration processes.
• Define APIs and integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Investigate complex technical incidents through code inspection and log analysis.
• Work with databases and write SQL queries.
• Take responsibility for production systems and coordinate incident resolution.
• Design unit tests and testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with Software Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Information Security teams.
• Coordinate between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Create system diagrams and documentation describing end-to-end solutions.
• Support the implementation and delivery of complex financial system changes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Systems Analysis.
• Proven experience writing both functional and technical system specifications.
• Strong ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience investigating complex technical issues through code reading and log analysis.
• Experience taking responsibility for production systems.
• Strong end-to-end systems thinking combined with attention to technical details.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive cross-functional activities.
• Strong organizational skills, thoroughness, and ability to work in a demanding environment.
• Ability to independently manage, coordinate, and lead technical tasks.
