ABOUT THE ROLE

Summit is an international real estate group operating in Israel, the United States, and Germany. We're building the group's technology and AI foundation from the ground up, and we're looking for the person to lead it: someone who sees a business problem and turns it into a working system, without waiting to be told what to do.

This is a hands-on role with full ownership. You'll start with the foundations (infrastructure, backend, and integrations), then build internal applications, automations, and an AI-powered "company brain" over the company's data. The initial focus is our U.S. operation, including travel to New York, expanding over time across the entire group, working closely with senior leadership.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Leadership & Ownership
• Lead the group's technology and AI roadmap, in coordination with senior leadership.
• Collect and prioritize requests from every department by business value, and deliver them end to end.
• Over time, build and lead a team, including hiring in New York.

Gatekeeper for Vendors & Platforms
• Act as the gatekeeper for vendors and consultants: vetting proposals, challenging estimates, making build-vs-buy decisions, and overseeing quality and cost.
• Develop deep knowledge of the company's platforms, especially Yardi: integrations, data flow, and the automations built on top of them.
• Choose tools and architecture suited to the size of the company, without technology for its own sake.

Product & AI
• Define and build solutions as products: problem definition, users, MVP, measurement, and continuous improvement.
• Build the "company brain": a central knowledge layer over documents, deals, and operational data for search, summarization, and decision support.
• Integrate AI and agents into operational workflows and automations that save meaningful time.

Infrastructure & Security
• Build stable, scale-ready infrastructure that serves as the base for all systems.
• Own data security and integrity, including resident and financial data.

REQUIREMENTS

Required
• Hands-on experience building and shipping production systems and integrations.
• Experience integrating AI / LLMs in real applications (RAG, agents, automations, or similar).
• Product skills: defining needs, prioritization, MVP, and user-focused thinking.
• Strong understanding of enterprise platforms and SaaS, and experience working with vendors.
• A business head: you build for outcomes and ROI, and work effectively with non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel to New York several times a year.

Preferred
• Backend development experience, ideally with Python (a strong plus).
• Experience building an internal knowledge system or AI assistant.
• Familiarity with Yardi, or real estate and property management experience.
• SQL and data engineering; DevOps / CI-CD.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools; Microsoft 365 / SharePoint.
• Experience leading people or projects.
