Mechanical Designer JB-5150

A defense company specializing in the development of advanced multidisciplinary systems in the fields of sonar and marine acoustics, as well as Microwave and RF communication systems, is seeking a Mechanical Designer and Analyst.

Job Description:

• Join the mechanical development team and work with development teams, management, and customers.
• Development and design of enclosures for marine systems, including ruggedized and industrial systems for airborne and ground projects.
• Performing structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses using SolidWorks Simulation.
• Designing heat dissipation solutions using passive and active means.
• Supporting the development and editing of electronic circuits from the mechanical enclosure perspective.
• Supporting the transition process from development to production.
• Managing, controlling, and overseeing mechanical production at subcontractors, as well as assembling subsystems during the integration stage.
• Performing field installations and providing support to the company's customers in Israel and abroad.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 7 years of experience in mechanical development
• Proven experience in developing enclosures for complex systems
• Proven experience in designing enclosures with an emphasis on heat dissipation using passive and active means
• High ability to present designs and interface with customers, management, and the electronics development team
• Experience and ability in performing structural and thermal analyses
• Experience in marine/underwater enclosure design – an advantage
• Knowledge of SolidWorks
• Knowledge of PDM
• Knowledge of PRIORITY – an advantage
