Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring an AWS Cloud Solutions Architect for a leading government organization in Central Israel

Role Overview

Lead the design, implementation, security, and optimization of AWS cloud infrastructure as part of the Government Nimbus Project. The role includes cloud architecture planning, migration projects, hands-on implementation, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures

• Lead cloud migration and Cloud Native initiatives

• Evaluate technologies, conduct POCs, and guide projects through production

• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud architecture and enterprise infrastructure, including technical team management

• Hands-on AWS experience: EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS, EFS, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, and Governance

• Experience with cloud migrations, VPC, and Multi-Cloud environments

• Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps technologies

• Strong knowledge of AWS networking: Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, Route 53, ALB/NLB, and PrivateLink

• Experience with cloud security and monitoring tools such as Wiz, Netskope, or equivalent solutions
