Responsibilities

• The role involves playing a central part in managing the process of preparing requests for proposals (RFPs) from contractors, including the creation of bills of quantities and cost estimates. It entails in-depth cost analysis, the development of submission strategies, consideration of technological aspects, and maintaining a comprehensive, big-picture view of the project.

• Tender Management and Pricing: Conducting in-depth reviews of tender documents, plans, and technical specifications; assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• Interface and Schedule Management: Coordinating and synchronizing the tender process with the company’s project management teams, planners, and consultants.
• Cost Analysis: Managing and updating the organizational price database and performing sensitivity analyses.
• Documentation and Lessons Learned: Assisting the project manager in tracking and reviewing tender outcomes.
  
  

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or Industrial Engineering & Management – Mandatory.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in a Tenders/Pricing department within a contracting or engineering firm – Mandatory.
• Proven experience in cost analysis, pricing of line items, and comparing subcontractors.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel – Mandatory.
• Excellent proficiency in BIM and Revit software – A significant advantage.
• Familiarity with pricing/project management software.
• Highly driven, proactive, possessing a sharp commercial and economic mindset, combined with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
