Automation Engineer

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer (Java / DevOps-Leaning), taking end-to-end technical ownership over the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale test automation frameworks for complex Network Security platforms.
• Architecting robust, scalable automation infrastructures from scratch in Java, supporting functional, integration, load, and performance verification across distributed cloud environments.
• Designing and provisioning containerized test environments, test harnesses, and traffic simulation topologies using Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Cloud native services.
• Driving deep Network & Traffic simulation testing, analyzing packet-level behavior, enterprise topologies, and protocol validation across layers L3–L7.
• Integrating automated testing suites directly into modern CI/CD pipelines, streamlining release validation workflows and establishing high-reliability gating standards.
• Incorporating modern AI-assisted developer and testing tooling to optimize framework efficiency, test generation, and failure analysis.
• Collaborating closely with Core R&D, Network Architecture, DevOps, and Product squads to ensure extreme scalability, stability, and zero-downtime performance.

Requirements-

• 5 years of proven professional hands-on software development experience with focus on Automation Infrastructure / Core Frameworks – Mandatory
• Proven background designing and building robust, production-grade Automation Frameworks in Java – Mandatory
• Mandatory industry experience originating directly from Network Security, Cyber Security, or Enterprise Networking companies – Mandatory
• Deep, authoritative hands-on mastery of Networking principles: Network Topologies, Traffic Flow, and L3–L7 protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP/S, BGP) – Mandatory
• Demonstrated hands-on experience developing within modern Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) – Mandatory
• Solid practical experience with containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD ecosystems: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent – Mandatory
• Strong DevOps/Infrastructure orientation, capable of setting up test beds, complex network topologies, and performance/load simulation environments – Mandatory
• Full-time commitment to working from the central site in Tel Aviv (walking distance to train transit, with 1 day remote) – Mandatory
• Fluent, professional technical communication and documentation capabilities in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
