QA Engineer

A fast-growing, innovative AI Analytics and DefenseTech scale-up engineering enterprise Data Fusion and intelligence platforms for global security, law enforcement, and government agencies.

Employing approximately 40 professionals, the company develops a mission-critical Big Data platform that ingests, correlates, and fuses multi-sensor telemetry including text, computer vision images, audio signals, and complex metadata transforming vast data volumes into actionable investigative intelligence.

The engineering culture operates at the intersection of high-scale distributed data processing and applied AI, tackling multi-faceted analytics challenges in production-grade environments.

Located in the Sharon region directly adjacent to primary train transit, operating on a hybrid model with two days working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Manual QA Engineer (100% Manual) embedded directly within the core R&D squad, taking complete quality ownership over complex Big Data pipelines and AI-driven intelligence analytics products.
• Designing, planning, authoring, and executing comprehensive Test Plans, STP/STD documentation, and detailed Test Cases for complex end-to-end (E2E) analytical flows.
• Conducting deep-dive manual validations across Data integrity, API endpoints, backend databases, and multi-sensor data fusion layers (text, visual data, audio, and metadata).
• Structuring, categorizing, and maintaining test scenarios methodically to facilitate their seamless integration into the company's existing JavaScript-based automated testing framework.
• Operating and debugging across hybrid operating environments (Linux and Windows), analyzing system logs, and utilizing modern AI tools to augment quality assurance workflows.
• Collaborating closely with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Product Managers to investigate, trace, and isolate complex edge-case defects in high-scale data systems.

Requirements-

• 4–6 years of solid, proven hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on experience testing complex Big Data systems, data-intensive pipelines, or high-throughput analytics platforms – Mandatory
• Hands-on testing experience within AI, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics-driven software environments – Mandatory
• Proven proficiency in authoring detailed Test Plans (STP), Test Designs (STD), and comprehensive Test Cases from scratch for complex systems – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on experience and comfort working in both Linux and Windows operating environments – Mandatory
• Demonstrated practical expertise in Database testing (querying, validating data schemas, and backend data verification) and API testing – Mandatory
• Proven background navigating and testing highly complex, multi-component architectures – Mandatory
• Full-time commitment to working in a hybrid model (3 days on-site in the Sharon region adjacent to train transit, 2 days remote) – Mandatory
• Fluent, professional technical communication and defect-documentation capabilities in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
