VP Engineering, Projects & Business Development

APCO Defense Industries is an Israeli technology and manufacturing company based in Caesarea, specializing in advanced parachute systems, technical textiles and lightweight recovery solutions. We serve the defense, aerospace and sports aviation markets, combining engineering expertise with advanced manufacturing capabilities.

We are now looking for a senior leader to oversee our Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales teams, while driving business development across the defense and sports markets. The role requires strong engineering foundations, proven people-management experience and a strong business mindset.

This is an opportunity for an engineering professional who has grown into project and people leadership and is ready to take on a broader business role. The successful candidate will help lead the company through its next stage of growth, connecting technology, execution and commercial priorities.

What We Are Looking For:

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
• A strong engineering background, with experience progressing into project management, cross-functional leadership or broader business responsibilities.
• Proven experience managing people and leading teams, gained in professional roles and/or through significant leadership responsibility in military service.
• Experience or strong skills in sales, marketing, business development or commercial strategy, ideally in a technology-driven or industrial environment.
• Experience in a defense company, advanced manufacturing or a high-tech industrial environment is highly relevant.
• Entrepreneurial experience may also be a strong fit, particularly for someone looking to take on a senior leadership role in a growing company.
