Senior System Engineer- Optical Sensing Systems JB-5530

• We Are A small, focused team building a next-generation underwater acoustic sensing system, combining optical fibers, advanced interferometry and signal processing.

• We are at the ground floor - building from scratch, based on a proven, IP-protected concept.

• The Role A System Engineer joining our core team and working closely with the company's technical leaders.

• The role combines hands-on lab and field work with broad system-level thinking.

• At this stage the emphasis is hands-on: building experimental setups, establishing a lab and R&D infrastructure, working with components and integration - with an opportunity to grow toward system architecture as the product evolves.

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics (MSc/PhD - an advantage)

• Hands-on experience with fiber-optic and electro-optical systems

• Background in sensors and/or interferometry

• Experience with data acquisition and signal processing

• Advantages:

• System engineering experience from industry.

• Familiarity with interrogators and laser components

• Background in mechanics, materials or packaging Experience with acoustics and acoustic sensors Experience designing and executing field deployments and field-level product validation

• Experience leading structured development processes (design reviews, alternatives development, V&V milestones).
