Plant Manager / Operations Manager / VP of Operations

About the Role

Overall responsibility for the company's production and operations system. Direct management of the managers of the production, maintenance and operations departments. Leading approximately 120 employees and managers to meet output, quality, safety and service goals. Building, implementing and monitoring work plans and KPI goals. Continuous improvement of production processes, operational efficiency and increasing productivity. Responsibility for the areas of quality, safety, maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. Managing budgets, resources and investment processes in equipment and technologies. Ongoing work with the company's management and leading cross-functional projects. Promoting an organizational culture of excellence, responsibility and results.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Proven experience in operations or production management in a manufacturing industrial plant.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior management position (plant manager / operations manager / VP of operations).
• Experience in managing managers and large teams.
• Proven ability to lead efficiency processes, improve performance and implement work methodologies.
• Broad business and operational understanding.
• Experience working with performance indicators (KPI) and operational control.
• Excellent human relations, leadership and change management skills.
• Full control of Office applications and ERP systems - an advantage.
