Role Description-

• Serving as an Oracle Developer / Application DBA, taking end-to-end technical responsibility over core relational database architectures, database development, and production stability.
• Designing, developing, and optimizing complex database objects, stored procedures, packages, triggers, and analytical logic utilizing SQL and PL/SQL.
• Leading deep database performance tuning initiatives, analyzing Execution Plans, optimizing slow queries, and resolving concurrency, index fragmentation, and locking issues.
• Partnering closely with core Software Engineering and DevOps teams, providing database design guidance, schema modeling, and query optimization support.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex database-related incidents, performance bottlenecks, and operational anomalies in a 24/7 high-availability Production environment.
• Monitoring database health, table spaces, and system resources to ensure optimal data throughput, high availability, and operational resilience.

Requirements-

• 4 years of proven hands-on experience in Oracle Database development or as an Application DBA – Mandatory
• Advanced mastery of SQL and complex PL/SQL programming (Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Views) – Mandatory
• Extensive, proven practical experience in Query Tuning, Execution Plan analysis, indexing strategies, and performance optimization – Mandatory
• Demonstrated background managing, troubleshooting, and supporting databases in mission-critical Production environments – Mandatory
• Deep understanding of relational database engine internals, transactions, concurrency, and locking mechanisms – Mandatory
• Full-time commitment to working from the central office site (adjacent to train transit, with flexibility for 1 day remote) – Mandatory
• Fluent technical communication and documentation capabilities in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
