What the role involves :

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the marketing strategy of Knauf Israel, turning market insight into profitable growth across our portfolio. As a member of the country Leadership Team and a credible peer to the Sales Director, you will lead four function leads and work closely with regional and Group marketing communities in a multicultural, matrix environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Country strategy & business plan – Own the marketing strategy and vision for Israel: market segmentation, positioning and growth priorities by segment and channel. Translate it into the annual marketing plan and budget, and contribute to the country business plan and strategic planning cycle.
• Portfolio, launches & pricing – Decide on priorities for new product launches and market development, adapting Group innovations to local standards and building practices. Drive portfolio management and value-based pricing recommendations with Sales and Finance, with clear ownership of price, volume and mix outcomes.
• Customer & service promise – Define what Knauf commits to customers and build a shared commercial agenda with Sales: joint KPIs, channel and key-account plans, specification programmes with architects and engineers, and voice-of-customer insight.
• Brand, communication & digital – Decide on marketing priorities, campaigns and communication activities; strengthen the Knauf brand, digital presence and lead generation, and steer agencies, trade events and market activation.
• Leadership & governance – Lead and develop the four function leads, allocate budget across the functions, measure marketing performance and ROI, and represent Israel in regional and Group marketing networks.

What you need :

We’re looking for someone with:

• 8 years of B2B marketing experience, including senior leadership at Director level – having led leaders, not only specialists – ideally in building materials, construction or another technical/industrial sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a relevant field; an MBA is an advantage
• Strong commercial and financial literacy: reads a P&L, understands price, volume and mix, and owns a budget
• Decisive under competing demands, able to set priorities across several disciplines and to challenge Sales constructively as a credible peer
• Experience in a global, matrix organisation is an advantage; comfort with complexity, ambiguity and change
• Fluent Hebrew and English
