Network Security Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer to join a large-scale enterprise environment.

The role involves hands-on network operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and implementation of network and security infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco, Arista, and Check Point technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network and security infrastructure
• Configure and support Cisco and Arista networking equipment
• Analyze TCP/IP traffic and troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark
• Manage and maintain Check Point Firewalls, including security policies, rules, and blades
• Work with NDR, NPM, and network monitoring tools
• Participate in network and security infrastructure implementation and upgrade projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of TCP/IP
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network security, including Check Point Firewall administration, security rules, and blades
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment
• Hands-on experience with Arista networking equipment
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as PRTG, MRTG, Cacti, or Tivoli
• Python scripting skills – Advantage
• Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) – Advantage
