NOC Operator | Student Position

Studying technology and looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on IT experience while completing your degree?

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for motivated students to join its Network Operations Center (NOC) and support the monitoring of critical IT and communication infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in IT operations, infrastructure monitoring, technical troubleshooting, and working with enterprise technology teams.

No previous professional NOC experience is required.

The position involves working in a 24/7 operational environment and is designed for students who can commit to regular shifts alongside their studies.

What You'll Do

• Monitor IT systems, communication networks, and infrastructure.
• Identify technical issues, system alerts, and operational incidents in real time.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate incidents to relevant technical teams.
• Track system availability and operational status.
• Collaborate with System, Networking, and Infrastructure teams.
• Document technical incidents, alerts, and troubleshooting activities.
• Report system status and unusual operational events.
• Work in a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment.

Requirements

• Currently a first- or second-year student with at least two years of studies remaining.
• Currently studying one of the following:
• Computer Science
• Information Systems
• Software Engineering
• Industrial Engineering and Management
• Business Administration with a specialization in Information Systems
• A relevant technological Practical Engineering program
• Strong technical orientation and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a technical and operational environment.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Availability & Commitment

• Availability for 3–4 shifts per week.
• Minimum of 90 working hours per month.
• Availability for rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation, including Saturdays and holidays.
• Commitment to the position for two years, including the required training period.
• Willingness to participate in on-call shifts lasting up to 8 hours.
• Willingness to participate in standby coverage for evening and night shifts.
