Category Manager - Industrial & Engineering Procurement

Our Procurement Division manages high-scale corporate budgets and serves as a strategic business decision-maker. We are seeking an experienced Industrial & Engineering Category Manager to lead end-to-end strategic procurement activities in the technical and engineering domains, managing annual budgets of 70–100M ILS, driving innovation, and optimizing financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Category Management: Lead multi-year strategic planning and execution for technical and engineering categories, overseeing annual spends of 70–100M ILS.
• Commercial Agreements & Sourcing: Identify new supply sources, independently conduct complex commercial negotiations, execute supplier contracts, and manage ongoing vendor relationships.
• Procurement Strategy & Policy: Partner in defining category procurement policies aligned with corporate goals and long-term strategy.
• Data & Spend Analysis: Analyze spend data, total cost structures, market trends, competitive landscape, supply chain risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Cost Efficiency & Technical Sourcing: Execute technical and industrial procurement initiatives while driving ongoing cost-reduction and process optimization plans.
• Quality & Operations: Manage end-to-end quality and delivery issues directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: Represent corporate procurement across internal organizational business units and external partners.
• Travel: Work from Petah Tikva HQ with occasional nationwide travel to company sites.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree – Must (Preference for Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering, or Technology).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement in technical/engineering domains, managing annual budgets of tens of millions ILS – Must.
• Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of at least two of the following fields: Instrumentation & Controls, Electrical Systems, Construction, Infrastructure, Wastewater Management, Engineering Consulting & Planning – Must.
• Systems: Proficiency with ERP systems – Must.
• Languages: High level of English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading) – Must.
