Production Planning Specialist JB-5425

A leading manufacturer in transportation technologies is looking for a Production Planning Specialist with a technical orientation for a varied role that involves working with many interfaces across the organization, planning and coordinating manufacturing processes.

Areas of responsibility:

• Building product structures (BOMs) based on mechanical and electrical engineering drawings. Preparing programs (Nest) for laser cutting machines.
• Managing product specifications and coordinating between customer requirements and all company departments.
• Planning and tracking the work plans of the production departments.
• Ongoing work with the logistics department to plan and track the supply of components to the assembly departments.

Requirements:

• Engineer or practical engineer in industrial engineering and management, or practical engineer in mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience as a production planner in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good command of Excel.
• Experience working with SAP or another ERP system – an advantage.
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• High service orientation.
