Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain physical and virtual Linux servers throughout their lifecycle, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.

• Manage enterprise Storage and SAN environments, including Fiber Channel infrastructure, zoning, multipathing, and capacity planning.

• Oversee backup and recovery solutions using Dell NetWorker and PowerProtect Data Domain.

• Maintain file services such as CIFS/SMB, Samba, NFS, and FTP/SFTP, integrated with Active Directory.

• Develop automation solutions using scripting and configuration management/provisioning tools.

• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery activities, and technical documentation.

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide senior-level technical support.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in Linux Infrastructure / System Administration roles within enterprise environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with physical and virtual Linux servers (RHEL or equivalent).

• Proven experience managing enterprise SAN environments, including Fiber Channel, zoning, HBAs, and multipathing.

• Experience with CIFS/SMB, Samba, NFS, and FTP/SFTP services.

• Experience working in Active Directory environments.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise backup and recovery solutions.

• Scripting experience using Bash, Perl, or Python.

• Fluent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to work independently, document procedures, and provide senior-level technical support.

Advantage

• Experience with Dell NetWorker and PowerProtect Data Domain.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, LDAP, Kerberos, and SSH.

• Experience with Puppet and Foreman.

• Familiarity with Oracle Infrastructure and RMAN.

• Experience with Brocade/Broadcom Fiber Channel switching.

• Experience with Linux Clustering and High Availability (HA) environments.
