About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced architect to lead security across Bridgewise’s products and help shape the cloud architecture behind them. Our AI runs inside banks, brokers and trading platforms, so for us security is part of what our customers rely on. You’ll report to the Chief Architect and work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Data Science and Product, as well as with our enterprise customers.

You’ll also play a key part in how we bring AI into our development process, helping our teams work faster with AI coding tools and agents while keeping our code, data and systems safe. It’s a role with real ownership, where security helps teams move forward rather than slowing them down.

Requirements

• 8+ years in software, cloud or security, including several years as a security, cloud or solution architect
• Experience designing and securing enterprise SaaS platforms, ideally on AWS
• Hands-on knowledge of identity and access architecture: SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• A solid understanding of application, API and cloud security, encryption and secrets management
• Experience with distributed systems, containers and Kubernetes, microservices and secure CI/CD
• Experience working with enterprise customers on security and integration requirements
• Clear communication with engineers, management, customers and auditors alike
  
  

• Own Bridgewise’s security architecture across products, cloud, APIs, data and AI systems, and maintain a clear security roadmap
• Review the design of new products, services and integrations, and work with engineering teams on practical ways to reduce risk
• Set the guardrails for AI-assisted development: what AI tools and agents can access, how AI-generated code is scanned and reviewed, and which security checks run in CI/CD
• Design identity and access for our multi-tenant platform (SSO, SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, role-based permissions), and support enterprise customers with complex integration needs
• Lead AWS cloud security, including IAM and least-privilege access, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management and monitoring
• Help shape secure-by-design architecture for our AI and agent-based products, so they continue to meet the standards financial institutions expect
• Work with the Chief Architect on a cloud architecture that is reliable, scalable and cost-efficient, including failover and disaster recovery
• Support customer security reviews, questionnaires and audits, and help us meet frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
  
  

• Experience securing AI-assisted development, AI coding tools or LLM-based products
• Familiarity with OWASP, NIST, SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Experience in fintech or another regulated industry
• Experience with cloud cost optimization
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field, or equivalent experience
