Job Description

A leading financial organization is looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to join a large-scale, strategic SAP implementation project within a complex, highly regulated enterprise environment.

The role involves implementing and optimizing financial processes in SAP, working closely with business and technology stakeholders, and supporting end-to-end implementation activities, from requirements gathering and functional design through testing and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of financial processes in SAP, from requirements analysis through go-live.
• Work with SAP FI/CO modules and financial processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Budgeting, and Financial Controlling.
• Analyze and design financial processes according to business, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct Fit/Gap analysis, prepare functional specification documents, and perform SAP system configuration and customization.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Budgeting, and Controlling departments, as well as business and technology stakeholders.
• Design and support integrations between SAP, core financial systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Work closely with development, integration, authorization, infrastructure, and SAP Basis teams.
• Plan and execute functional testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including supporting data migration activities.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support during implementation, go-live preparation, and post-go-live stabilization.

Requirements

• 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP financial implementation – Mandatory.
• Strong experience with SAP FI – Mandatory; SAP CO experience is a significant advantage.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects – Significant advantage.
• Experience participating in large-scale SAP implementation or greenfield projects – Advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes within large organizations.
• Experience designing system integrations and cross-functional business processes.
• Experience in financial institutions, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated environments – Significant advantage.
• Ability to work effectively with senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong analytical skills, a process-oriented mindset, and a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes.
