Application Security Architect

COMBLACK is hiring an Application Security Architect!

We are looking for an experienced Application Security Architect to join a leading banking organization in Tel Aviv.

This role involves leading secure software development practices, defining enterprise security architecture standards, and guiding strategic projects across Application Security, Cloud, and AI environments.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience leading security architecture in enterprise environments – Required
• Strong experience implementing Secure SDLC and integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, and ASPM tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience in Application Security, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation
• Experience conducting Threat Modeling, architecture reviews, and defining security requirements
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Deep understanding of Web, Mobile, API, Microservices, and Container architectures
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security, SAMM, and BSIMM
• Excellent English communication and technical documentation skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-organizational security initiatives

Nice to Have:

• Software development background (Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or similar) – Strong advantage
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI security risks, including LLMs and AI Agents
• Experience with security infrastructure and technical security guidance
