We are seeking an Electrical & Motion Control Engineer to join MVG’s Engineering team, focusing on the electrical design, integration, and commissioning of control systems and precision motion systems for complex industrial and measurement equipment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across control cabinets, servo drives, motors, PLCs, sensors, motion controllers, and automation components while collaborating closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineers. The position contributes directly to reliable, high-performance systems and may include occasional international travel for integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support.

🚀Responsibilities

- Develop electrical schematics for control cabinets and industrial systems, including wiring, grounding, shielding, EMC practices, and panel-layout support.

- Define and integrate key automation components such as servo drives, motors, PLCs, power supplies, safety devices, sensors, encoders, and field-wiring interfaces.

- Implement motion-control systems, including servo motors, drives, encoders, motion controllers, feedback systems, motion profiles, and operating parameters.

- Optimize motion-control performance through configuration, tuning, analysis, and troubleshooting of positioning, stability, synchronization, speed, accuracy, and repeatability.

- Collaborate with mechanical, software, systems, and engineering teams during design meetings, system integration, commissioning, validation, and design reviews.

- Ensure accurate technical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, installation, commissioning, maintenance documentation, and design records.

- Drive continuous improvement in electrical and motion-control designs, component selection, reliability, manufacturability, best practices, and evaluation of new technologies.

✅ Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.

- Experience in electrical design of control cabinets, industrial electrical systems, or similar equipment.

- Practical experience with electrical and control-system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with servo drives, motors, PLCs, sensors, encoders, industrial automation components, and electrical CAD tools.

- Understanding of grounding, shielding, EMC, industrial wiring practices, motion-control principles, PID control, feedback loops, acceleration/deceleration profiles, and system dynamics.

- Strong analytical, systematic troubleshooting, communication, and technical documentation skills.

- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment and motivation to develop expertise in electrical and motion-control technologies.

🌟 Nice to Have

- Experience configuring or tuning servo drives, motion controllers, and broader motion-control systems.

- Familiarity with EtherCAT or other industrial fieldbus networks.

- Experience with PLC programming, control-system software, safety circuits, and relevant standards.

- Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments on complex industrial or measurement equipment.
