Lead Quality & Safety Excellence in a Large-Scale Infrastructure Project

A leading international company operating in the transportation and infrastructure sector is seeking an experienced Project Quality & Safety Manager to join a flagship project.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving project quality, safety assurance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across complex multidisciplinary project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all project quality and safety activities throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage through contract completion.
• Act as the primary interface for quality matters with customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
• Drive quality assurance processes, audits, inspections, supplier quality management, and non-conformance management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Lead safety assessments, quality reviews, risk mitigation activities, and authorization processes.
• Monitor project quality KPIs, analyze performance trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and mentor project quality teams while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (B.Sc. or higher) with a strong management orientation.
• Proven experience in Quality Management within complex engineering, infrastructure, transportation, manufacturing, energy, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, quality methodologies, and problem-solving tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders in matrix organizations.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and quality management processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Advantage

• Experience in railway, transportation, infrastructure, or large-scale engineering projects.
• Six Sigma certification.
• Experience with audits, continuous improvement methodologies, Lean principles, and quality excellence frameworks.
