Logistics Center Manager

Responsibilities

• Management of field managers and logistics teams (approximately 50 employees, including 6 intermediate managers and 2 senior managers) in the areas of warehouses, orders, cutting, containerization and deliveries, packaging and carpentry.
• Management and planning of ongoing activities and setting priorities according to production and distribution needs.
• Responsibility for meeting department goals, delivery times, service quality and inventory reliability.
• Leading improvement and efficiency processes and defining operational indicators.
• Ongoing work with production departments and other interfaces in the company.
• Responsibility for implementing work procedures, safety and environmental quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, industrial engineering and management or a relevant field - mandatory

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in managing a logistics center or large-scale logistics activity with over 40 employees, including managing managers at intermediate levels - mandatory.
• Experience in an industrial environment - an advantage.
• Proficiency in SAP and Office applications - an advantage
• High availability and operational response, including arriving at the plant at unusual hours when necessary
• Leadership ability, systemic thinking and decision-making in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple interfaces.
