Mechanical Engineer for R&D of Innovative Weapons Products-2651

The Israel Security Agency (ISA) is recruiting an experienced mechanical engineer for R&D of innovative weapons products.

• Mechanical design of operational systems
• Project management in weapons systems

Maintaining working relations and exchanging knowledge with leading external defense companies, academic researchers and colleagues in the intelligence community in fields of weapons systems

Requirements- Mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• At least 2 years' experience at mechanical design and weapons development
• Proficiency with explosive systems
• Conducting explosives tests and operations research
• Proficiency in CAD software (preferably in SolidWorks)

Requirements- Advantage

• Experience with product management of multidisciplinary technological systems
• Working experience with control systems, mechanisms, and robotics
• Experience in the core fields of mechanical design – design for challenging environmental conditions.
• Experience in design of electronics systems and EMI/RFI
