About the Role

Electrical Validation Engineer - Automotive Systems Location: Haifa, Israel Team: Electrical Validation - Quality & Reliability Lab About the Role We are looking for a hands-on, motivated Electrical Validation Engineer to join Mobileye's Quality &Reliability Lab in Haifa. Our team is responsible for electrical validation of advanced automotive ECUs and systems, supporting product development and qualification according to automotive standards and customer requirements. In this role, you will take ownership of electrical validation activities, from test preparation and execution to results analysis, failure investigation, and reporting. You will work closely with hardware, software, and system engineering teams while contributing to test automation and continuous improvement of our lab capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute electrical validation tests according to applicable automotive standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Build and maintain electrical test setups, including harnesses, power supplies, electronic loads, measurement instruments, and automotive communication interfaces.
• Analyze electrical behavior, waveforms, and test results to identify anomalies, investigate failures, and support root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with HW, FW, system engineering, and other validation teams to investigate technical issues and support product qualification.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tests, including setup preparation, execution, data analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Contribute to test automation, data analysis, and improvements in validation efficiency.
• Support laboratory equipment maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical testing, validation, hardware integration, or debugging.
• Practical experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and measurement instruments.
• Good understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and electronic systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate and solve technical problems independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work effectively within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automotive electrical validation standards and customer-specific test requirements.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and interfaces such as CAN, Automotive Ethernet, GMSL, or FPD-Link.
• Experience with automotive ECUs, camera systems, radar systems, or embedded electronic products.
• Experience with Python scripting, test automation, or automated data analysis.
• Experience using automotive development and diagnostic tools.
• Experience interpreting technical specifications and translating requirements into validation test procedures.
