Senior Network Engineer | Network Operations & Security

A leading organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join its enterprise network infrastructure team.

This hands-on role combines network operations, infrastructure deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting across complex enterprise environments, including network security technologies and advanced monitoring solutions.

You'll work with Cisco and Arista networking equipment, Check Point Firewalls, TCP/IP traffic analysis tools, and enterprise network monitoring systems while supporting critical network infrastructure and communication projects.

What You'll Do

• Operate, maintain, configure, and deploy enterprise network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity, performance, and security issues
• Work hands-on with Cisco and Arista networking equipment
• Analyze network traffic and TCP/IP protocols to identify and resolve issues
• Perform packet analysis using Wireshark and other network sniffing tools
• Work with Network Detection and Response (NDR) and Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) solutions
• Monitor network infrastructure using tools such as MRTG, PRTG, Cacti, and Tivoli
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Check Point Firewall environments
• Support the implementation and delivery of network infrastructure and information security projects
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders across the organization

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with TCP/IP networking
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Networking and Information Security
• Hands-on experience with Check Point Firewalls, including security policies, software blades, and security applications
• Experience working with Cisco networking equipment
• Experience working with Arista networking equipment
• CCNA and CCNP certifications
• Experience using enterprise network monitoring and management tools
• Strong ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Advantages

• Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
• Ability to write automation or operational scripts using Python
