Automation Developer – Leading Defense Organization | Central Israel

A leading defense organization is seeking an Automation Developer to join its team and work on automated testing, complex systems, and test process improvement in an advanced technological environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing infrastructure and scripts.
• Write automation code and build test scenarios based on system requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform integration, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Analyze test results, identify defects, document findings, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and other technical teams.

Must-Have Requirements:

• Relevant academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR professional training/a course in software testing and automation totaling at least 120 hours.
• At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated tests.
• Programming experience in Java or C#.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Experience with system testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, experience writing test documentation, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Advantages:

• Knowledge of and experience with SAP GUI.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira or TFS.
• Familiarity with SQL and writing queries.
• Experience testing SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/HANA systems.
• Experience with Docker and other DevOps tools.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and writing detailed test documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
