Hardware Team Lead

Role Description-

• Serving as an Engineering / Software R&D Group Lead, taking organizational and technical leadership over multidisciplinary delivery squads.
• Directly managing a dedicated squad of ~7 engineers, while providing direct managerial oversight to an additional Team Lead and driving matrix management across their respective engineering squad.
• Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of complex technological programs across diverse domains: Embedded, Software, Hardware, Cyber, and Cloud.
• Maintaining technical authority with the capacity to dive into hands-on problem-solving and architectural guidance whenever required.
• Leading cross-functional resource allocation, project roadmaps, delivery milestones, and technical risk assessments across concurrent client engagements.
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders (including defense contractors, medical technology enterprises, and startups) to translate operational requirements into robust system specifications.
• Mentoring engineers and team leads, establishing best-practice engineering standards, and driving professional growth across the group.

Requirements-

• Proven managerial experience leading software / multidisciplinary engineering teams, including direct management of engineers – Mandatory
• Experience in matrix management or managing other Team Leads / cross-functional project squads – Mandatory
• Broad multidisciplinary technological background with hands-on roots in one or more domains: Embedded Systems, Real-Time / Low-Level, C/C++, Linux, Cloud, or Core Software Development – Mandatory
• Practical ability and willingness to stay technically involved and contribute hands-on to architectural reviews or critical technical challenges when needed – Mandatory
• Eligibility and willingness to undergo an Israeli Defense Security Clearance (סיווג ביטחוני) – Mandatory
• Proven background managing complex projects with strict timeline, quality, and delivery constraints – Mandatory
• Full-time presence at the company's offices in Haifa (train accessible) – Mandatory
• Fluent, professional communication and leadership capabilities in Hebrew and English - Mandatory
