Senior Cybersecurity Architect | AI Security

A leading organization in Central Israel is seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Architect specializing in AI Security to design, implement, and guide advanced cybersecurity solutions across enterprise applications, infrastructure, and hybrid environments.

This role combines cybersecurity architecture, secure infrastructure design, and end-to-end project guidance with AI security risk assessment, development oversight, and the establishment of security methodologies for AI-powered systems.

The ideal candidate brings extensive cybersecurity experience, strong architectural expertise, and the ability to translate business and technology requirements into practical security solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement advanced cybersecurity infrastructure and security solutions
• Design secure network architectures aligned with business and technical requirements
• Provide cybersecurity guidance for application and infrastructure projects from initial design through production deployment
• Evaluate, select, and implement information security technologies and products
• Develop security hardening guidelines and documentation for operating systems, databases, networks, applications, storage systems, and endpoints
• Design monitoring, supervision, and alerting solutions for security monitoring centers
• Support cybersecurity incident response from both technical and operational perspectives
• Guide the development of AI models and AI-powered systems with a focus on security requirements
• Assess AI-related security risks and establish appropriate security methodologies and controls
• Work across hybrid environments combining cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Provide professional leadership and technical guidance to technology teams

What We're Looking For

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security
• At least 2 years of experience managing technical teams
• At least 3 years of experience guiding technology projects and designing secure architectures
• Experience providing end-to-end security guidance for application and infrastructure projects
• At least 2 years of experience guiding the development of AI models and AI-powered systems
• Experience assessing AI-related security risks and defining appropriate security methodologies
• Hands-on experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
• Ability to translate business and technical requirements into cybersecurity architecture and security controls
• At least one of the following certifications: CISSP, CISO, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or CCSP

Education & Professional Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification paths:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or an exact science
• Another academic degree combined with substantial professional cybersecurity training or certifications
• Relevant technical education and experience gained through a specialized military technology unit or an equivalent professional technical training path
• Advanced professional cybersecurity training and certifications without an academic degree, in accordance with the position's qualification requirements
