Role Description-

• Serving as a Software Automation Engineer, joining an established, high-impact core QA automation squad of 3 engineers and reporting directly to the Team Lead.
• Holding 100% hands-on automation ownership, designing, building, and scaling robust, maintainable test automation frameworks from the ground up using Java.
• Engineering automated test suites for a complex, distributed hybrid-cloud data management and storage platform operating across global enterprise environments.
• Developing automated end-to-end and UI/functional test suites utilizing modern testing frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Operating extensively within native Linux environments, managing server-side test configurations, log analysis, and system-level diagnostics.
• Integrating automated testing pipelines into continuous deployment fabrics using CI/CD tools (Jenkins) to ensure continuous validation and release velocity.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Core Software Developers, Cloud Architects, and Product squads to maintain enterprise-grade software resilience.

Requirements-

• 2 to 4 years of proven hands-on experience in Software Test Automation development – Mandatory
• Strong, practical object-oriented programming mastery in Java – Mandatory
• Solid hands-on experience developing UI and functional automation using Selenium OR Playwright – Mandatory
• Strong practical proficiency working in Linux environments (command line, shell navigation, system logs) – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience working within Cloud-native environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) – Mandatory
• Strong analytical mindset, dedication to software quality, and fluent professional communication in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
