Python Developer - Back Testing System

Location: Tel Aviv

A leading organization is seeking a Python Developer to develop an advanced Back Testing system for designing new indices and analyzing historical data. The role combines hands-on development, complex data processing, technical specification writing, and technical leadership of development tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the calculation engine and system components.
• Develop complex data processing workflows in Python.
• Analyze requirements, write technical specifications, and define development tasks.
• Participate in developing new system capabilities and specifying the user interface.
• Collaborate with system clients and cross-functional teams, including Development, Infrastructure, DBA, and QA.
• Write test specifications, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot issues.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Pandas and NumPy, including complex data processing.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) in Python.
• Experience in requirements analysis and technical specification writing.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including table and index design and writing efficient queries.
• Experience with Git, test specification writing, code reviews, and secure coding practices.

Advantages:
