Role Description This full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer and project leader role is based in Holon. The Mechanical Engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for multidisciplinary systems, from concept through detailed design. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing mechanical calculations, creating and updating 3D models and engineering drawings, collaborating with electronics, software, and industrial design teams, and supporting prototype build, testing, and design validation. The role also involves contributing to research and development activities, preparing technical documentation, and participating in design reviews to ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements. The Mechanical Engineer will support ongoing projects, troubleshoot design issues, and assist in transitioning designs to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanics, materials, and thermal principles.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and mechanical component and assembly design for complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools specificaly SolidWorks and PDM.
• Ability to lead or support Project Management activities, including planning, coordination, and tracking milestones.
• Experience or strong interest in Research and Development (R&D), prototyping, and iterative design improvement.
• Familiarity with defence tech and medical device engineering, embedded systems integration, or multidisciplinary product development is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards and regulatory considerations for medical or industrial products is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail, with effective communication and teamwork skills.
