Manufacturing Project Manager

A leading defense company is seeking an experienced and driven Manufacturing Project Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle from initiation and R&D handoff to prototype stages and serial manufacturing (NPI).
• Drive multi-disciplinary matrix interfaces, working closely with R&D engineers, production planners, procurement, quality assurance (QA), and external vendors.
• Monitor and control project budgets, review vendor quotes, analyze BOM costs, and ensure financial efficiency.
• Track project milestones, critical paths, and KPIs using MS Project and Excel, delivering regular status reports to management.
• Bridge engineering design with shop-floor execution, issue work orders (WO), and resolve technical/operational bottlenecks during production.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing manufacturing or hardware development projects (defense industry background preferred).
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in a matrix organizational structure.
• Direct experience working closely with R&D teams (Significant Advantage).
• Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP PP and PS modules are a major advantage).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Excel.
• High-level technical English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
