Join a multidisciplinary technical team responsible for maintaining, operating, and improving communication infrastructure in a complex industrial environment.

The role combines hands-on network infrastructure operations, communication equipment configuration, technical troubleshooting, and project support. You will work closely with system engineers, project managers, and technical teams to ensure reliable connectivity and the smooth operation of the site's communication infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain communication equipment and network infrastructure.
• Install, connect, and troubleshoot communication points, switches, user connections, and fiber-optic links between site buildings.
• Support passive communication infrastructure, including cabling, fiber-optic connections, and communication point installations.
• Perform basic computer and network configurations, including network adapter settings and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Support communication systems, including telephony and monitoring tools.
• Assist in troubleshooting communication issues and provide Tier 2 technical support.
• Support infrastructure projects from planning through testing, setup, and customer delivery.
• Define and document work procedures related to version updates, switch hardening, and monitoring tool operation.
• Support communication management systems and NAC solutions.

Requirements:

• Technical certification or education in Communications, Engineering, or Software – an advantage.
• Proven experience in communication infrastructure, communication equipment, or network support – mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of communication equipment configuration and troubleshooting – mandatory.
• Experience providing Tier 1 or Tier 2 technical support – mandatory.
• Experience with passive communication infrastructure, including user connections, cabling, fiber-optic links, and switches – mandatory.
• Basic computer skills, including network adapter configuration and proficiency in Microsoft Office – mandatory.
• Familiarity with telephony systems – an advantage.
• Experience with NAC, IMC, monitoring tools, or scripting – an advantage.
