Senior Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Network Security Engineer to manage, maintain, and improve the organization’s communication and information security infrastructure.

The role involves working in complex, business-critical environments, leading infrastructure projects, resolving Tier 3 incidents, and strengthening network and security controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wired and wireless networks.
• Lead network and security infrastructure projects, from planning and design through implementation and ongoing support.
• Manage routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, LACP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VRF, and HSRP.
• Configure and support SD-WAN, QoS, NAC, and Cisco ISE solutions.
• Manage F5 BIG-IP load-balancing solutions, including LTM.
• Operate and maintain security solutions, including firewalls, WAF, proxy, DLP, email security, IDS/IPS, GoAnywhere MFT, and secure file-transfer or data-sanitization systems.
• Monitor and manage network and security policies using tools such as SolarWinds and AlgoSec.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security incidents and support the organization during critical events.
• Contribute to system hardening and ensure infrastructure meets security, availability, and regulatory requirements.
• Work with cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing and configuring enterprise switches and routers.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, LACP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VRF, and HSRP.
• Practical experience with SD-WAN and QoS.
• Experience with NAC solutions; Cisco ISE is preferred.
• Experience managing wired and wireless network environments.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM or other enterprise load-balancing solutions.
• Hands-on experience with network security solutions such as firewalls, WAF, proxy, DLP, email security, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues in business-critical environments.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and perform maintenance during non-standard hours.

Advantages

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field, or military service in a technological unit.
• Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, or F5 certifications.
• Experience with SolarWinds, AlgoSec, GoAnywhere MFT, and secure file-sanitization systems.
