PC Technician

PC Technician | Field IT Support | Central Israel

A leading defense organization in Central Israel is looking for an experienced PC Technician to provide hands-on IT support, workstation deployment, hardware maintenance, and technical troubleshooting across its facilities.

The role involves working directly with computer equipment, Windows operating systems, peripheral devices, Active Directory, and network infrastructure, while providing on-site technical support to end users.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain desktop computers and workstations
• Install operating systems locally and through network-based deployment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows-related issues
• Install and configure peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and video conferencing equipment
• Connect and configure endpoint devices and network-connected equipment
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
• Operate and maintain data communication and telephony systems
• Work with multimedia equipment and radio communication systems
• Perform routine maintenance, technical documentation, and equipment checks
• Provide hands-on technical support to users across different locations
• Work outside standard business hours when required

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of professional experience in IT support or computer systems, with an emphasis on endpoint devices
• Hands-on experience physically setting up and installing workstations in a professional or military environment
• Experience installing operating systems, including network-based deployment
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows environments
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and network services
• Experience supporting printers, scanners, video conferencing equipment, and other peripheral devices
• Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management
• Relevant technical or electronics-related education or professional training
• Ability to work independently in the field, with strong service orientation
