Avionics Development Manager

We are recruiting an Avionics Development Manager for a defense company located in the Shephelah region

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing the development of electronic modules, from specification and design through implementation and system integration
• Leading hardware development processes and managing development reviews with factory teams and subcontractors
• Building work plans and managing procurement and manufacturing processes
• Conducting development tests and integrations at customer sites
• Managing the development of test systems and simulators, while coordinating with Engineering, Production Planning, Procurement, Technology and Testing teams, reporting to the Project Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 10 years of experience in electronic design and development of electronic modules, from design through implementation and system integration
• B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Experience leading hardware development processes, working with subcontractors and managing work plans
• Ability to lead and work independently and in multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple stakeholders
• Management experience working with customers and subcontractors – an advantage; security clearance
