Operational Intelligence Analyst (Desk Officer)

Key Responsibilities

• Intelligence Analysis and Assessment: Analyze diverse intelligence information to identify insights and draw conclusions using research tools, databases, and advanced intelligence collection capabilities.
• Real-Time Intelligence Assessment: Develop an integrated, multidimensional intelligence picture to support real-time operational decision-making.
• Operational Coordination: Direct, coordinate, and professionally manage intelligence collection activities within the assigned area.
• Security Operations: Lead security-related prevention efforts and coordinate closely with a range of operational and intelligence stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completion of full military or national service.
• Academic degree required, or eligibility to receive the degree before the start of training.
• Good health.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous intelligence experience – an advantage.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours and weekends, as required.

• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to process and analyze large volumes of information and draw conclusions.
• Ability to remain composed and perform effectively under pressure, while managing multiple tasks and working in ambiguous situations.
• Intellectual curiosity, strong reading comprehension, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership skills and the ability to engage and motivate stakeholders toward shared objectives.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, while maintaining focus in a dynamic office environment.
• Aptitude for working with a range of advanced technological systems.

Training and Placement

• The required training program lasts eight months: Six months of intensive training in central Israel, and two additional months of on-the-job training at the assigned location.
• Geographic placement is determined at the beginning of the selection process, based on candidate preferences and available positions.
