Senior Security Researcher

We are looking for an exceptional, Senior Security Researcher.

security research activities and play a key role in shaping our cybersecurity offering. This is a high-

impact role combining advanced threat research, development of innovative security capabilities,

and direct engagement with end customer CISO and security leaders.

Key Responsibilities

 Security research and innovation: Work closely with Product and teams to research,

design, develop, and enhance the platform security capabilities.

 Customer security analysis: Analyze customer network traffic and communication patterns

to identify security threats, suspicious activities, vulnerabilities, and actionable findings.

 Engage with enterprise security leaders: Present security findings, insights, and

recommendations to customers CISOs and security teams, working closely with sales teams.

 Serve as a cybersecurity subject matter expert: Represent in technical

discussions, contribute to security research publications, and participate in industry events.

Requirements

 At least 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity research, threat detection, incident

response, security analysis, or related fields.

 Deep hands-on experience in network traffic analysis, identifying suspicious communication

patterns, and identifying and investigating cyberattacks.

 Good understanding of networking: TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, common network

protocols.

 Proven experience analysing network traffic using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, Nmap, or

similar utilities. Familiarity with PCAP files and network flows.

 Experience with industry security tools such as NGFW, IDS/IPS, SIEM-SOC, NDR etc.

 Experience using AI-assisted coding tools.

 Technical requirements: Comfortable working with Linux and command-line tools, basic

Bash scripting skills, Working knowledge of SQL, programming or scripting experience.

 Good problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and ability to learn independently.

 Serve as the company’s cyber subject matter expert and thought leader: presenting to

Customers, publishing research papers, representing the company at industry events.

 Data science knowledge / hands-on experience - an advantage.

 BSc. Security/scientific/engineering degree - an advantage.

 Nice to have:

o Experience with cloud environments, preferably GCP.

o IoT Security experience and understanding of IOT networking concepts

o Familiarity with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or other analytical databases.

o Programming experience in Python or Go.

o Familiarity with Git.
