SOC Tier 1 Analyst

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Israel is looking for a motivated SOC Tier 1 Analyst to join our Cyber Security Operations Center supporting a leading enterprise client. This is an excellent opportunity for cybersecurity professionals looking to develop their skills in threat monitoring, incident detection, and security operations within a dynamic 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across multiple security platforms.
• Investigate and triage security incidents and escalate according to established procedures.
• Analyze logs from SIEM, EDR/XDR, network security, and endpoint security solutions.
• Identify suspicious activities, potential threats, and security vulnerabilities.
• Document incidents, findings, and response actions accurately.
• Support incident response activities and follow operational playbooks.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and security teams to ensure timely resolution of security events.
• Participate in shift-based operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in Cyber Security, SOC, NOC, Help Desk, or IT Operations.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and attack vectors.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, ArcSight, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, VPN).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.
• Good communication skills in Hebrew and English.

Advantages

• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
