DevOps Engineer

Passionate about automation, infrastructure reliability, and solving complex production challenges?

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on DevOps Engineer to join a successful global FinTech company and take significant ownership of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and reliability.

You'll work in a sophisticated, mission-critical environment spanning multiple sites and time zones, collaborating with global engineering and infrastructure teams.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just maintain systems, but actively identifies opportunities for improvement, takes initiative, and owns solutions from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Own and improve infrastructure automation using Ansible and AWX.
• Manage automation across multiple global environments.
• Build and enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Transform infrastructure data into actionable alerts and escalation processes.
• Maintain and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Investigate automation failures and improve operational reliability.
• Monitor, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments.
• Work with Linux and Windows systems, VMware/ESXi, and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Network, and global IT teams.
• Take ownership of infrastructure challenges from identification to resolution.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong Linux knowledge and systems understanding.
• Strong scripting capabilities with Python and/or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Strong experience with Ansible.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Zabbix, LibreNMS, Prometheus/Grafana, or ELK.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and ownership.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWX or Ansible Tower.
• Background in mission-critical environments.
• Experience with large-scale on-premise infrastructure.
• Familiarity with VMware/ESXi.
• Experience in financial technology or security-sensitive environments.
