Based in Tel Aviv, Barcelona, Korea, Mexico, USA and Brazil our experts at Thing or Two use in-house AI technology and data analytics to build scalable, ROI-positive campaigns. We work across all channels necessary to create a comprehensive digital strategy, bringing our customers closer to their business goals.

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and passionate Tech Team Leader to join our Tech team based in Tel Aviv – Israel and take ownership of both our technological projects and the development of the team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working with a small, agile team rather than a large corporate environment. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring team members, driving technical decisions, solving complex problems, and contributing directly to the development and evolution of our platforms.

About the position:

· Lead, mentor, and support the Tech team, helping team members grow technically and professionally

· Take ownership of the team's day-to-day technical direction, priorities, and execution

· Contribute directly to the development of front-end and back-end systems

· Design, build, maintain, and improve platform systems and infrastructure

· Lead architecture and implementation decisions, participating in design reviews of features and components

· Be responsible for solving complex technical and organizational challenges

· Review code and ensure high standards of quality, scalability, performance, and maintainability

· Work closely with other teams to understand business and operational needs and translate them into technical solutions

· Support the team in troubleshooting platform functionality, user experience, performance, and infrastructure issues

· Drive improvements in development processes, infrastructure, and technical best practices

· Take ownership of projects from requirements and planning through implementation and delivery

· Stay up to date with new technologies and identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across the organization

· Work closely with leadership to define and execute the team's technical roadmap

Requirements:

· At least 5 years of professional software development experience

· Previous experience leading, mentoring, or managing developers.

Candidates without previous Team Lead experience may also be considered.

· Genuine interest and ability to manage and develop people

· Strong experience with TypeScript, Python and React

· Experience with Redux, Next.js, NestJS, SQS and WebSockets

· Strong experience with PostgreSQL

· Strong experience with AWS, including ECS, EC2, CodePipeline, RDS, S3, and ALB

· Ability to work hands-on and contribute to both front-end and back-end development

· Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and decisions

· Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude

· Ability to think outside the box and find practical solutions to complex problems

· Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team

· Fluent Hebrew and English

It is a PLUS:

· Experience in the digital marketing, ad-tech, or performance marketing industry

· Passion for integrating AI technologies into organizations, products, and workflows

· Experience with Docker

· Experience with Vitest

· Experience with Go / Golang

· Experience with DynamoDB

· Experience with nginx

· Experience with Redis

· Experience with AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and ElastiCache

· Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or small technology team
